Hello and thanks for bidding on this Modulus Vintage J Series electric bass guitar. This bass guitar belonged to a friend of my dad's and we decided to buy it from him. It is in absolutely awesome condition (the only marks I found on it were on the pick guard. Obviously somebody has played this with a pick, but the marks do not pass onto the varnish (the marks are ordinary marks-this guitar hasn't been abused) . I'm not sure what the Modulus name for this color is. If the pictures don't show it, it looks like a candy apple red color to me. The pick guard is a white, with a crushed velvet look to it. I was told this is a Genesis neck, which is wood wrapped around a graphite core. Not really any visible damage at all on the neck or fretboard. The original Modulus hard case, which is as clean as the bass itself, comes with the bass. Also inside the case is an owners manual and a bag of tools for adjusting various parts on guitar (look like they came with bass). The carpet in the case is charcoal gray. Also, I played this bass before I packed it just to make sure it was working and sounding good. The electronics are believed to be all original. This thing sounds amazing!!!! It always stays in tune well and easily sounds better than my Ibanez bass and the Fender basses I've played. This is a highly undiscovered gem for most bassists.
