Vintage Univox Badazz Short Scale Bass
Guild S-100 copy.
Cherryburst finish.
30 1/2' short scale.
1 9/16' wide at the nut.
Rosewood fretboard
Twin, really hot humbuckers.
2 volume, 2 tone and 3 way pickup switch.
Low set up, real easy player.
Huge fat bottom.
You can dial in the mids and highs too.
One ding on the side of the upper body, see pics, and a few other very minor marks. No buckle rash.
Not a mark on the neck, and the chrome hardware is all original and spotless.
NOTE ! The neck pickup kicks in and out. Lately, for the most part it`s out. I`m not an electronics guy, but I have checked for loose or disconnected wires. I think the problem is in the switch.
These things have a huge, big fat, well defined bottom. Thats with only the bridge pickup on line, with the neck working it`s killer. It is a Badazz bass!
They were made in the early 70's, 1970 or 71 through 1974.
Come with a fitted Univox case, in excellent condition.
This bass is one of my favorites, but I`m losing the use of my left hand due to arthritis, and this bass should be played.
