Here is a vintage 1980 Guild B-402 bass with original active electronics. This is a very unusual and rare bass and finding information on google is very difficult if not impossible. It is Serial # BD1000066. Pots are 1377946. These were only made in 1980-81 with the highest serial # being BD100335. I guess we can assume this was No. 66 of only 335 made according to Guild's serial number system. This is in as-found condition with some obvious issues. At some point, long ago it was converted to fretless and the frets were removed, filled and sanded. Pretty nice job and it could always be returned to stock but it is pretty fun to play as it is. The truss rod cover is missing and the rear control plate cover is not original. I have no idea on the knobs as I can't find another picture of one anywhere on google.
