Up for sale is my 1996 Hamer 2tek Cruise bass. It has seymour duncan pickups with passive electronics, rosewood fretboard, a rare transparent emerald green (try finding that on ebay these days...) on an alder body. Only thing that is not stock on this bass it the straplocks....
I have babied this bass since picking it up...its in excellent condition, which i would conservatively rate a strong 8/10. There are some minor belt scratches (see pix) , none through stain or wood, on the back of the bass and very small pin-mark sized dings on the front. This bass will crush any jazz bass in terms of playabililty, tone and sustain. This is my only and favorite passive-electronics, bolt-on neck bass...only reason I have to sell it is that my wife and I had to replace our roof, due to carpenter ant damage...there is no other reason I would sell this bass...
Please excuse the fingerprints and smudges on some of the pictures and also the flash from my digital camera...tried to really show you the wood grain on the body...will take and post more pictures on my photobucket account, for anyone who needs a better look at it before bidding...no problem with me at all...have camera (and polishing rag to get rid of the fingerprints and smudges) at the ready...
I recently had the bass professionally set up (tag still on case)...bass case is included...its pretty beat up along the edges (fraying), but perfectly functional (with key/lock). The bass is currently strung with brand new Rotosound Swing 66 strings...perfect compliment to this bass for rock and funk...I have also tried out,
