This auction is for a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub 4 string bass guitar. The Skyline Bob Glaub Signature shares the same aesthetics and Lindy Fralin pickups as the US-made version, modeled after Bob's own vintage 1964 workhorse bass. The Glaub captures the rich and defined power of those early basses that revolutionized the four-string low-end world. The tone and power of a well-preserved vintage instrument with flawless Lakland fretwork and neck refinements make this a modern classic. The new ones go for around $975, without a case. This bass is in excellent condition (there are a couple of 1 mm dings in the edge of the headstock). It will come with an SKB hard shell case in very good condition, and the bidding starts at $675.
Just like all the Skyline models, this bass was assembled in Korea with the identical specs and almost identical materials, before being sent to the Lakland factory in the US for the final inspection and set-up.
