Playing and collecting since 1960's, and now it's time to let them all go. Of many basses, this was my main and most loved axe. It's an incredible and extremely rare ASB-1 (Devil Bass) with serial number 7xx that indicates in was probably built in late 1966 or early 1967. According to Bruce Johnson (xstrange.com), who is likely to be the world's foremost expert on these instruments, there are only about 75 fretted Devil Basses ever made. What happened to this one? The handfeel is absolutely incredible, and it's one of the best necks that I've ever played. The body finish

I have one. Can't find a buyer. Looks great, plays beautifully. Too many feel intimidated by it I guess.

I owned one from about 1972 to late 1980s. Now I want it back. Any suggestions?
