This auction is for a used GALVESTON IBANEZ G.E.M. COPY STRAT IN SOLID ACRYLIC BLUE.
This guitar is unique in construction mainly because the body is solid acrylic in 'Ty-D-Bowl' blue. It features a Jackson-like neck with 'Shark's tooth' pearl inlays. The body contains 2 humbuckers and a single coil. One Volume and tone control. A 3-way pickup switch. A licensed Floyd Rose patent floating bridge along with a locking nut at the neck. All gold-plated parts on hardware. Noticeably it has the infamous 'Monkey Grip' handle above the pickups that were sported on the Steve Vai Ibanez JEM guitars. I'm letting it go because I never play it due to lack of interest since all I play is bass now. This guitar is quite HEAVY because of it's construction. So imagine if you will that this guitar has P-L-E-N-T-Y of sustain (and it definately does at that!) It needs a good home as it never sees daylight in my house. It's a super-cool looking guitar. I do not have the arm for the Floyd Rose. It comes with a two-way single-piece allen wrench for the locking nut and a gig bag. The truss road cover was missing before I owned it. There is a noticeable neckplate that was used as a shim between the neck and body that can easily be removed.
