YOU ARE BIDDING ON A RARE H.S. ANDERSON BASS GUITAR. THERE IS NOT A LOT OF INFO OUT THERE ON THESE INSTRUMENTS. I WILL DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE IT. FIRST OF ALL IT PLAYS GREAT. NICE SMOOTH ACTION AND VERY WELL BUILT. THERE ARE SOME SCRATCHES AROUND THE INSTRUMENT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS. THE PICKUPS ARE THE ORIGINAL. THEY HAVE A NICE WARM VINATGE SOUND. IT HAS A THREE WAY SELECTOR SWITCH TO GO BETWEN PICK UP SETTINGS. THE NECK POSTION IS A REALLY FAT DEEP TONE. THE MIDDLE POSITION GIVES YOU A LITTLE MID BOOST, AND THE BRIDGE POSTION CUTS GLASS. KINDA REMINDS ME OF A RICKENBACKER. THERE ARE TWO VOLUME CONTROL AND A TONE CONTROL. IN THE MID 70'S A JAPANESE GUITAR MAKER HS ANDERSON BEGAN MAKING HANDMADE QUALITY INSTRUMENTS, SELLING THROUGH HIS OWN COMPANY NAME, AS WELL AS LICENSING THEM TO HOHNER AND VESTEX. THIS LOOKS TO BE AN ORGINAL HS ANDERSON. THE SERIAL # IS 905791. YOU CAN FIND A DECENT AMOUNT OF INFO ABOUT HIS GUITARS, BUT NOT VERY MUCH ABOUT HIS BASSES. THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON WHO PLAYS ONE OF HIS GUITARS IN PRINCE. IT'S THE BLONDE TELE COPY YOU SEE HIM PLAY A LOT.  ONE JUST SOLD ON EBAY FOR 5,100.00. I HOPE THIS IS ENOUGH INFO TO DESCRIBE THE BASS. INCLUDED IS A HARD CASE. IT MIGHT BE THE ORGINAL BUT IT'S VERY HARD TO TELL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT PLAYING BASS THAT IS VERY DIFFERENT, AND HAS SOME COLLECTOR VALUE THIS WOULD BE  PERFECT. PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL. I WILL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER THEM. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK!!!
