Up for sale is my 1980's (not sure of the actual date) guild
pilot fretless 5 string. i got this as a present a few years ago for
making the top jazz band at school, but i never really got the hang of
an unlined fretless. it is a great bass, with amazing tone and great
playability, but i cant play the thing in tune, which is why it has
been sitting in my practice space collecting dust for the past few
months. the bass is in good playing condition, but not cosmetically the
best. the previous owner had not taken good care of it, and there are
quite a few chips on the paint, and the control cavity cover is
chipped. the fingerboard came to me a mess, with a lot of buzz, but i
brought it to my lutheir and he resanded and re-oiled it. shipping will
be around $70 i estimate, as i have sold 2 basses recently and they
have both been around $70 to ship. local pickup is acceptable.
