This auction is for a rare early production used Warwick electric bass and hardshell case. This bass was produced September of 1982, when Hans Peter Wilfer (Founder/Owner of Warwick) first started the company. Due to just starting the company, H.P. Wilfer used components which he had on-hand from Framus/Warwick and Fender. As a result, he produced only 50 or 60 of such models making this very rare indeed! The bass has been professionally set-up and plays fantastic. The tone is very unique and has a warm, but strong sound. This piece is definitely a head turner and a fine instrument! (The German words on the front of the bass were evidently stuck on sometime in its history by someone and could probably be removed. We found out that it means ''please, no smoking.'')
