Here is a GUITARRON This is a mexican made MARIACHI STYLE BASS. I know very little about it .It has six strings three metal and three nylon. It projects very well;And is just right for an acoustic situation. As you can see in the pics it has a bowed back;(back has a small crack)- and the binding is a wooden decoration. The Guitarron is very light in weight. It stays in tune. If you are familiar with this instrument; you probably know what the fine points should look like. This is a great conversation piece; and would make a very interesting mini standup bass for some one wanting to make a few changes.Or-- use it the way it was intended. In any case the pics can show you much more than i can describe. You are buying it just the way its shown(with its case). The opening bid is low enough to justify it as a mere decoration.You can decide what its worth to you for your purposes.Very cool and unusual.
