When I got it new last year it did need to be setup. It had obviously left the factory with less than full attention to some details that were keeping it from being all that it could be. The string height was too high, the intonation was off quite a bit. Once that was taken care of it has played just fine. I think the tone is very good, must be the basswood body. I used it very minimally, on a few tracks I worked on during a recording project earlier this year. Now it is up for auction and will sell to the highest bidder, or Buy It Now !
I did not get a case for it, but I do have a generic gig bag (charcoal gray or maybe it was black at one time) that I used to store it in and carry it around, that will be included although I did forget to take pictures of it. This is a 7 day auction and if it does not sell with Buy it Now within one or two days, I should have time to get the picture of the gig bag uploaded in about 2 days time.
