Here we have a 1993 Musicman Stingray in Mary Kay White. In 1993 Ernie Ball/Musicman made a total of around 35 basses in Mary Kay White. Some 4 strings, 5 strings, some with Maple fingerboards and some with Rosewood fingerboards but of the 4 string model Stingray with Rosewood fingerboards less than 10 were produced. If you research this information on the ''Ernie Ball Fourms'' you will see that this information is correct. The bass is in great shape for 15 years and it will only go up in price over the years. In one of the pics I'm showing where the top layer of the pick guard has seperated a bit... not bad at all. and in the other a very small chip. There are a few other very small dings and some player wear but but as you can see from the pictures it is in great shape. The weight of the bass itself is 9.4 lbs. In some of the pics you will see string mutes but I have since took them off as I ''think'' that the owner before me put new ones on and they were a bit to thick and I could not lower the action were I wanted it without the strings muted. The action is about Med.- Low with no fret buzz and the bass has an nice broken in feel to it. There are no issues with the bass at all. the bass has also since been strung with a new set of DR Highbeams.
It comes with a older worn but very fuctional Fender HSC. With less than 10 of these made in May Kay white you can be sure this will be a nice collectors bass as the years go by and my starting price and the ''Buy it Now'' price reflect this. If it does not sell this time it will later down the road.
