This is a set of Alembic Active Pickups with electronics harness that I bought a couple of years ago to upgrade a fretless bass. They appear to be very similar to the pickups I have on my 1980's vintage Alembic Distillate, and I was planning to capture that same great sound with the fretless. I ended up not finishing that project ad so am offering these for sale. You get everything shown in the pictures. You can find out more about these great electronics at www.alembic.com. If you send the harness back to Alembic, they can upgrade it to their current design - I did that with my Distillate, and it really came out nice!On Dec-01-08 at 07:24:59 PST, seller added the following information:
I have had several questions about international shipping. I will work with you to find the cheapest reliable delivery service, and only charge actual cost with no markup. Apparently the UPS calculator is generating some outrageous numbers, so don't go by that. It will be sent in a small package, weighing less than a pound.
