FENDER 50s Precision Bass Honey Blonde w/Tweed Case

Up for sale is this great sounding and very cool looking rare honey blonde 50s FENDER Precision Bass. The only colors for Precision Basses in the 50s were sunburst and blonde, just like this one. The anodized metal pickguard contrasts niceley with the metal bridge and pickup covers. The vibe of the bass is definetely vintage, and the neck has that comfortable 50s radius shape, which is a little wider and flatter than the Jazz Bass. It makes it perfect for Rock. The tunes are era correct reverse style tuners, which I like better than regular ones. I compared this Bass to my friend's 1972 Precision Bass, and they sound almost identical. This one here has a little more output, and the tone is a little fuller, but not muddy! The overall condition is very good. There are a few little nicks on the lower side, and one near the bridge. It looks nothing like the scratched and banged up Custom Shop Fenders, though. I bought this bass for a special project, but I don't need it anymore. I am actually a guitar player, so I don't have much need for it. I think this is a great bass with great playability and sound. I am sure it will find a happy new owner. The Tweed case in the pictures is inluded. Good luck bidding!
