Up for bid is one killer 6 Alembic Bass.  This awesome instrument features a Zebra Wood Top, Mahogany Body, and Maple and Walnut Neck with a matching Zebra Wood Veneer on the Headstock.  This Bass is the Alembic Epic Model, and would retail for $6400 new.  If you know Alembic, then you know that everything they make is unmatched for tone, playability, aesthetic quality, and durability.  It features Alembic MXY56 pickups with volume, pan, bass and treble controls.  At the 12th fret, there is an imperfection in the wood which is actually in the shape of a dragonfly- I tried to capture that in my photos, but it doesn't come across quite as good as it actually looks.  This bass has been well taken care of, and comes with the OHSC, and the Alembic Wood Card.  It is strung with DR Black Beauties (Bootsy Collins' signature strings).  Winning bidder pays for shipping.  Good luck, and thanks for looking!!!  Special Note:  I've lowered the reserve, although the original reserve was more than realistic and fair.  This bass is priced to sell.  Thanks!
