Beautiful Carvin Custom Shop Six String Bass. Very nice condition, great fretless sound. This is about 7 years old. It has been played but is in great shape. I had the Carvin Shop build it out of Maple because I wanted a bright sound and it sounds great, very, very open with a full range both high and low. I had them put the Fat Humbucker on the bridge with the active electronics. I play this through an old SWR 400 with 4 10'' and an 18'', the sound is phenomenal.. Recording, it just goes into the board. This has all the fretless sound you have ever heard, and then some. A fretless 6 sting bass is not for the faint at heart. But this really plays very easily, you can get the action as low as you would ever want and when you play, it's like power steering.
This bass has a light finish and it still smells new, a very organic wood fragrance. The finish is a bit worn in some areas but nothing that stands out or that you would notice if not looking, and yes, there a few small bumps here and there; nothing to write home about. I will ship with the stock case, the T-Rod wrench and Hex Wrench with a few Allen head screws for the Hipshot Bridge so if you lose one, you will have spare on hand. Prefer Pay Pal Please.
