Up for bid is my Ovation AE-40Acoustic electric fretless Bass. It is in great shape cosmetically and has a nice mellow tone.
I've upgraded the electronics from the original piezo only pickup to both a piezo and internal microphone pickup with a digital control panel. You can blend the input level of each pickup with the built in slider.
It also features a 4 channel equilizer and digital tuner with an analog needle style LCD display with red and green LED's to make tuning a breeze.
The battery storage and output jack panel has both a standard Hi-Z cable output and a three pin (Low-Z Bal) output connector.
The qulaity hardshell case is in great shape to protect and hold the guitar very securely. I am also including a nice thick heavy leather shoulder strap. The strings were recently changed and are still like new.
This is a great deal for someone looking for a an acoustic bass with that unique fretless sound. I just don't use it enough to justify the space it takes up.
