'98 Sterling bass in very good condition. I absolutely love this bass, but I must sell it so I can finish school.


The Sterling is the smaller, lighter, more playable cousin to the Sting Ray bass. These list for $2,050 with a street price of $1,435 plus tax. Has a couple minor dings.


The 3-way switch offers more tonal varieties, and the phantom coil offers a single-coil sound without noise. It also features hot-rodded electronics: active 3-band preamp, a Music Man humbucker with hum-canceling phantom coil, and unique 3-way switching (both coils in series mode, single coil, and both coils in parallel mode). Volume, treble, mid, bass controls. Includes original hardshell case.
