I believe this bass is identical to one that sold on this site last year, so I'll just copy its description. (The serial number of my bass is 898653.

From the previous listing:
"This model is Gibson's first electric bass, and originally called the Gibson Electric Bass, but commonly referred to as the EB-1 after the introduction of the EB-2. Violin shaped mahogany body, carved top, humbucking pickup, black bonnet knobs, standard right-angle tuners, exposed bridge, brown stained finish.

This bass is identical to the one used by Jack Bruce of Cream during reunion tour 2005. If you wish to own part of the Rock 'n Roll/Blues history, you cannot miss this opportunity."

I have owned this bass for almost forty years and played it professionally during the 1970s. It comes with a plush-lined case. There are a couple of minor cosmetics blemishes which are visible in the photo and which I can elaborate on ih a phone call with anyone seriously interested in buying it.
