Could your bass be like the one on the last picture added ??
Mine is the "Jazz Bass" version,
Yours is probably the "P-bass" version.
The difference is scratchplate and pickup types.

My bass looks exactly the same except it doesnt have the pick guard its just shiny black. Is mine a different bass?
