You are looking at a very cool 82 Hamer Cruise Bass.  I think the early Cruise Basses are how Gibson would build a Jazz bass. A Jazz type body and controls with P and J pickups, a set neck and a angled head stock all done in mahogany. Sounds like a Gibson to me. This one is not a museum piece. It has nicks and chips all over it. The finish is checking very badly. The back of the body has had the finish sanded off completely. I bought it to refinish it but I decided I liked it the way it was.It has EMG active  pickups. Looks cool, sounds good and plays good. I hate to let it go but I need money to cover moving expenses. I am also selling a Hartke HA7000 head and a super clean StingRay so check out my other auctions. Shipping will be UPS ground insured to the continental US only. PayPal only please.
