 Dearmond Jetstar bass guitar.  These were built for Guild in Korea.  The body shape is from the mid-60's Jetstar and not only looks cool, but is comfortable and, if there is no guitar stand available, will stand on its own when leaned against an amp or wall.  There are 2 single coil pickups which sound good without noticeable hum.  Scale length is 31'. 

The neck is set into the body.  (There were two versions of Jetstars:  the setnecks and the bolt-ons.  There is nothing wrong with a bolt-on neck but in this case, the setneck is of higher quality than the bolt-on.)  These were phased out after Fender bought Guild.  

With the medium scale length and comfortable neck, this is an ideal instrument for someone with smaller hands who doesn't wish to compromise his or her sound..
